Normal schedules, not personalised due dates.

This planner covers selected common obligations. It is not a complete calendar for every business or tax situation. Start by identifying which accounts, property filings and tax returns apply to you.

Check the date for the actual year.

Weekends, holidays, qualifying disaster relief and approved extensions can affect deadlines. A filing extension may not extend the payment deadline. Confirm filing and payment separately.

The individual $1,000 balance-due threshold is a general starting rule, not a complete safe-harbor calculation. Current-year 90% and prior-year 100% rules can apply, with a 110% prior-year test for certain higher-income taxpayers. Use the current Form 1040-ES instructions for your situation.

Give each deadline an owner.

  • Confirm the applicable tax year or reporting period.
  • Check the actual agency deadline, including adjustments.
  • Record any separate payment deadline and processing cutoff.
  • Assign the person responsible for preparing and submitting.
  • Set an earlier internal date for gathering documents.
  • Save the submission and payment confirmations.

The downloadable spreadsheet contains the schedules above plus blank columns for your confirmed dates, owner and status. It is a planning worksheet, not an automatic filing service.

Do not use quarterly returns as a deposit calendar.

Federal payroll deposits can fall due more frequently than employment-tax returns. Determine the deposit schedule applicable to your business separately and record both sets of dates.

New-hire reporting and other employer obligations also sit outside this short calendar. Use the employer guide to identify the other records and accounts you need.

Update the calendar, keep the evidence.

Review the calendar after a move, new employee, change in filing frequency, new entity or disaster announcement. Record why a deadline changed and keep the agency notice supporting it.

If a deadline is already missed, check the agency’s current instructions and any notice you received. Do not simply move the task to next year.
